Advanced Searching will allow you to quickly search for specific types of entries in your log.
Using the different fields available in the Advanced Search you can quickly find matching entries in your log.

Examples always help to clarify things so...
Lets assume you have a page on your site named 'page1.htm' (We'll use that as an example page)

If you wanted to display all hits to page1.htm..
Type page1.htm into the 'Page:' box on the left
Clicking on SEARCH would find:
All entries in your log where the visited page was page1.htm

If you wanted to exclude any hits to page1.htm where the user had an ID of 10512345..
Type page1.htm into the 'Page:' box on the left
Type 10512345 into the 'User Name/User ID' box on the right.
(The default filter for the right hand boxes is 'must not' include)
SEARCH would find:
All entries in your log where the visited page was page1.htm but exclude any entries where the User ID was 10512345

If you wanted to only display hits to page1.htm from a visitor with User ID of 10512345..
Type page1.htm into the 'Page:' box on the left
Type 10512345 into the 'User Name/User ID' box on the right.
Select 'must also' in the drop down menu in the right hand box.
SEARCH would find:
Entries in your log where the visited page was page1.htm and the User ID was 10512345

Lets assume you also have a page2.htm on your site...

If you wanted to display all hits to page1.htm AND page2.htm..
Type page1.htm into the 'Page:' box on the left
Type page2.htm into the 'Page:' box on the right
Select 'can also' in the drop down menu in the right hand box.
SEARCH would find:
All entries in your log where the visited page was either page1.htm or page2.htm

Hopefully you get the idea. If you play around with different types of searches for your site you should get the hang of it.
